Why do people get married hoping to change there cheating ways?

I would like to know why get married, and you know you're going to cheated.Do you get married hoping that your cheated ways will stop.Is it true a leopard never changes his spots.Once a cheater always a cheater. Why do people get married hoping to change there cheating ways?
well i think that people want to believe that they can change. Their partner just wants to believe that they will deep down somewhere. My sister did that (married the guy) they were divorced a year later... He had a affair with a 17 year old girl. he is 31. GROSS. he's a freak and he'll never change and neither will anybody else. So think before you do think like thatWhy do people get married hoping to change there cheating ways?
That's an idiotic thought, ';if I get married, I won't ever cheat on her again';. That makes zero sense. Yes, once a cheater, always a cheater.
People too often attribute magical behavior modifying powers to marriage. In reality, its nothing but a social contract taken almost entirely at peoples' word.
Let the Cheat cheat. But getting married is a prestige,a life time achievement with divine purposes. I can be called as Mrs. Wife, mother .
that's like ppl who think having a baby is goin to make him wanna commit.
For the wedding gifts, maybe?
