You will however need to to prepare a lot of documents from Phillipines... If I remember correctly, birth certificate, proof of single status, no criminal record certificate, proof of nationality...


Then you will need to get legalized translations. Get the names of translators in your local court house and have them afterwards legalized in the court house. Then probably an extra legalisation in the ministry of foreign affairs, always to be done in Brussels.





After that, you apply for temporary resident visa in your local city hall, which will have to be renewed after one year to then to be renewed after 5 years. When you get married, your future wife will have the right to ask for nationality after 3 years under the law of family reunion.
