My daughter is getting married and is planning to serve hot apple cider?

We are planning to use nice clear plastic plates and cups--we need to find out if there are any type of disposable cups that could be used with hot drinks that would be nice for a wedding. Go to any party supply store. They all carry white plastic coffee cups with handles. These were used at my Sister's wedding. Be sure to offer sugar cubes too. They are more classy at functions such as this. Have you ever tried the apple cider from Williams Sonoma? You can use the cardboard ones with wedding bells on them. If you have a Gordon foods in your area they carry them, or a party party store ( its a place that caters to birthday, graduations, and weddings.)would have them.
If you go to a place like Costco or BJs they probably have plastic (clear, heavy, crystal-looking) mugs that would be perfect to serve your cider in. Don't forget to include cinnamon sticks to put in as well :)
I'd recommend going to the party store (or similar place) and looking at what they have. They have a multitude of hot beverage cups that are decorated. Maybe you can find some of a color or decoration that would be appropriate.
styrofoam cups! they seem cheap, but you can decorate them by painting them in the party color scheme (make sure it is safe paint), and adding bows, sequins, etc (if you know anyone interested in helping out, it would be good, since this will take a while.)

Yes there are such things, because I've been served them. I would phone some of the places that rent banquet tables %26amp; glassware and ask them. Party houses don't just rent out glasses %26amp; cloths, they also sell the other stuff. Look for ';wedding and catering supplies.';
You could look in the yellow pages for restaurant supply companies. They will have what you are looking for.





Remember that hot apple cidar is often not that hot.

the only thing i could think you could use is Styrofoam cups. maybe you can goggle some that is colored and 4oz. If the cider is hot then paper cups will be hotter and cause more problems styrofoam has been proven to hold cold and heat better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One idea for two purposes. Restaurant supply stores have various clear coffee mugs, some fluted, tall, rounded.


Order one for each guest, tie a ribbon in the wedding colors with a thank you or name tag. The guest uses the ';mug';


during the reception and takes it home as the favor.
How about using paper cups but personalized with the couples names? You could also go with actual ceramic ones but that might be more pricey.(You could give them as favors) Type in ';promotional coffee mugs or cups'; in your search box. Here's one idea of what I mean. Apple cider sounds like a yummy idea!
