What are the qualifications for a married couple and how much?

What are the 2008 qualifications for the tax refund that bush is going to be sending out/ when are they going to be sent out and how much for a married coupleWhat are the qualifications for a married couple and how much?
It is not a ';tax refund';. It is a ';tax rebate';.

The House has passed a tax rebate bill currently being considered by the Senate.

Under the terms of the House bill, married couples would be eligible to receive a rebate of up to $1200 if you paid that much in Federal Income Tax. If you only paid $750 in taxes (less than the $1200 rebate limit), you only get back $750. An additional $300 would be received for each dependent child. If you had earned income of at least $3000, you would get at least the minimum rebate of $300.

Nothing has passed Congress yet, so all details are subject to change. Estimates for the rebate checks range from May to July.

ya its still in limbo
1200 and they will be sent may or june and you qualify if you dont make more than 75,000
Bush is sending out nothing. It's not his job.
As of right now, the plan has not been passed by the senate. Infact I think that there was a vote today and Bush's bill was defeated. So at this point it is premature to speculate what the amount will be.
