What are the legal consequences of living separately while married?

I want to live in a different apartment with my daughter, while still married to my husband. It's for personal reasons. I don't want to cheat or anything, but I prefer it that way. According to law, do you think if it has any consequences to the concept of marriage? What are the legal consequences of living separately while married?
There is no legal significance to living apart. Notice that tens of thousands of military members live apart from their spouses, as well as any number of civilian occupations. The fact that you do it for reasons other than a job doesn't matter. What are the legal consequences of living separately while married?
Obviously, you are not saying everything that is going on. Cut your loses and get a divorce. If you cannot work things out with your husband and live in the same home then some thing else needs to be done. He could ruin your credit, put bills in your name, etc.
No consequences. May be confusing to the daughter, but no consequences.
well theres always the consequences with haveing to explain to ur daughter why ur moving from her dad . plus another one is that if u dont live so long with him before tax time u will prollly get screwed if u dont file together . so say u do move out to ur own place . how is he gonna take this ? is gonna cause a divorce ? are u sure u can remain faithful or if he can ? theres always lots of things to think about in this situation . you should do what u think is best for you an ur child . good luck hope everything works out for u
The real question is if you really think he will remain faithful.

He will still have all the rights of a custodial parent, so you might want to protect yourself and let it go.
It is a healthy practice for some couples to be away from each other at times and just be alone in some ';breathing'; space. It helps to preserve one's sense of self or individuality- one good way of strengthening your marriage.
