What Hawaiian island is the best place to get married during the month of December or January?

I'm planning on getting married somewhere in Hawaii and I've been looking at places online but i'd like to get some input from people that live there or have visited many times and know the area well, so any suggestions? What Hawaiian island is the best place to get married during the month of December or January?
Kuai for sure absolutly lovely theirWhat Hawaiian island is the best place to get married during the month of December or January?
Some people say Oahu is too crowded, etc. but my husband and I got married on the beach there and had our honeymoon afterward. You CAN get away from the tourists if you want to (get outside of the Honolulu/Waikiki downtown area). And, when you do want all the tourist attractions, they're not far away. I personally think Oahu was the best choice for a first time visit to Hawaii, with plenty of stuff to do, and for our ';quiet time away'; we rented a condo near the beach rather than staying in a hotel in the downtown area.

And the wedding location was beautiful. If you decide to do this, we used the wedding planners at http://www.wedaloha.com - they walked us through everything start to finish, had several locations to choose from (or pick your own), had a package for every budget, and the pictures were phenomenal. Can't recommend them highly enough, and I do recommend them on these boards quite often.

No matter which island you choose, Hawaii is a paradise - congratulations, Aloha, and enjoy!
Hi. I would recommend Kauai or Maui.

I would stay away from Oahu (Honolulu)....it is very, very crowded and busy!

The other two islands are really nice. Look online at packages. Use Google and type in ';maui wedding packages'; and ';kauai wedding packages.'; There are LOTS of companies.

Also, if you do a little research, you can always get married at one of the resorts. This one on Maui is absolutely beautiful (but VERY pricey):

Good luck in your search!
You might consider joining www.theknot.com and asking on their Hawaii board.

From what I have heard, it depends on what kind of experience that you want. Oahu has the big city and some nice beaches. We went to Maui for our honeymoon and I absolutely loved it!

Good luck to you.
