Is it inappropriate to confide in your married male friends about your dating life?

I find it may be inappropriate, even if the conversation is innocent, because this info is too private to share with your married male friends. Of course I wouldn't talk about sex with my married male friends. Do you think it is inappropriate to talk about your dating life with your married male friends if you're single? Only if you're close with your married male friends should you disclose this info? I sometimes talk about my dating experiences with my male friends, but not my married male friends. Do you agree with this? Thx.Is it inappropriate to confide in your married male friends about your dating life?
I'm single now but I was married and the single girls I know have always trusted me their secrets, and dating games, now and then. I guess I'm just easy to talk to, they get a lot of advice and such from me. I think it's ok to get a male' opinion about certain things. Is it inappropriate to confide in your married male friends about your dating life?
I agree, it is inappropriate, marriage is hard enough without the complications that can come from that.

I think if your male friend is struggling in his own then it makes it that much harder for him. Men in general are a lot quieter about those kinds of problems even when they are in crisis.

Wives could see you as a threat and really ride their butts about that when you aren't around as well.

Men often won't tell you they are being called out by their wives because it is demeaning and they would not want to embarrass you or themselves.

How did my my ex file as married filling jointly electronically without my permission?

At the end of 2007 I was married but separated. He filled taxes as ';jointly'; electronically and got a stimlus check that corresponded to two people plus my daughters.

Arent their any security guidelines for this mistake not to happen? Is it that easy? What can I do about this?

He seems to not know that it was wrong because according to him they didnt ask for my signature. How did my my ex file as married filling jointly electronically without my permission?
Just call the IRS and let them know that he filed fraudulently. You have no way of knowing what he reported on that return and since it is at this moment considered your return--you are legally responsible as much as he is for the information on it.

The IRS's number is 1 800 829 1040. If you don't believe me, look it up. I'd feel better for you too.

As far as the stimulus goes, it was supposed to be an advance payment off of this years taxes and you should take up the question with the IRS since he filed without your permission.

For the poster above me, did you personally file your own taxes last year? If he filed married filing separately the IRS would require you to file the same way. If he filed married filing jointly, one of you would not have been able to e-file and you'd be hashing it out with the IRS trying to prove who was in the right.

However, if you can prove that you were unmarried and had sole custody of the kids--you should be able to get it all straightened out if it is a fraud case. How did my my ex file as married filling jointly electronically without my permission?
What signature. He efiled. The IRS can't tell whose fingerprints were on the keyboard.

If you had your own filing requirement, you would have filed on your own and the duplicate use of the SSN would have been obvious.

If you are filing now and not getting the stimulus because you filed last year when you say you didn't, write the service center and explain that your ex filed an ';invalid joint return.'; You can ';win'; if you can show you weren't living with him, didn't have any income to file and didn't benefit from the refund. You will lose if the tax return included any income for you, especially if you had income of more than $3400 and didn't file on your own.
My ex did the same thing. Except he was at an HR Block office and the guy told him to claim our kids (I have sole custody) and I don't know how they got away with putting me on it. Long story short....I am waiting for my $4000 2007 refund from the IRS. It looks like I am out the rebate ($1800 for me and our 4 kids) because the jerk got that too.

Do your kids live with you? For more than 6 months of the year? Do you have any income? I made under $30K that year and was qualified for the EIC, the child credit, etc. and that meant a big refund. If you are working, you need to look into what you might be entitled to - it could be quite a lot of money.

How long do you have to be married to a japanese woman to gain a visa?

If you marry a japanese woman to gain a spouse visa, what is the amount of time you have to stay married so that you don't get kicked out of japan if you get divorced? How long do you have to be married to a japanese woman to gain a visa?
I agree with Amy. They will take your visa away if you divorce. One of my friend married foreigner and divorced. He needed leave Japan but he didn't want to. So he tried( begged) my other friend to marry him so he can stay in Japan. He left Japan. How long do you have to be married to a japanese woman to gain a visa?
You should never marry someone just for something like that. I love Japanese women but I would never marry one just to get a Visa. Marry one because you love her. I have never been to Japan but would love to some day. I am trying to learn to speak and read in Japanese.

Don't they keep coming back to make sure ya are both together
If you only got married to a Japanese woman and have a spouse visa, you will be kicked out of Japan as soon as you divorced as others say.

But there are 2 ways you can stay in Japan even after divorce.

One is to take permanent right to live in Japan. And the other is to be naturalized in Japan.

Both are possible if you stay married for 3 years with a Japanese woman. You need another application and I don't know how easy or hard to take those rights.

aha after a visa are we?

you couldnt have made it more obvious if you tried!
If you get divorced, they will take your visa away and kick you out of Japan unless you get the work or other proper visa to stay.

Japan doesn't want to accept immigrants, and actually Japan restricts immigration more than the States.
When you get divorced your spouse visa is recinded.

You would have to have permanent residency to be able to stay.

It's people like you that give the rest of us a hard time.

Is there an Army regulation stating that married couples have to stay together overseas?

My husband and I are getting ready to deploy together. We are one of two married couples on this deployment. I was wondering if there are any Army Regulations out there that state that we have to be kept in the same sleeping quarters while deployed. If anyone at all can help me with this question that would be GREAT!!! Thanks all!Is there an Army regulation stating that married couples have to stay together overseas?
NO. There is no regulation. If you are in the same unit your chain of command can, if they choose, put you in the same quarters. Now if you are in different platoons, squads or what have you, you may be on different FOBs anyway. Either way... it falls on your chain of command! Good Luck!Is there an Army regulation stating that married couples have to stay together overseas?
You CAN stay in the same sleeping quarters but there is no requirement either way.

To the best of my knowledge, it can be found in general order 1a but is left up to the discretion of the commander.
    There is No such Regulation...

    End of Story...

Think you have the Army mixed up with

What steps does immigration take to see if an illegal who married an american is already married in mexico?

If there is an open petition for a spouse and that spouse is already married. How does the INS (immigration) check it out? Are there checks that they go through to find out if they are already married? What steps does immigration take to see if an illegal who married an american is already married in mexico?
Part of the immigration process includes verifying that the marriage is valid. This means both does the couple live together, etc. *and* is each person legally able to marry? For the US person, they'll get a residence history and check for marriage licenses in those places. For the foreign person, they'll do the same thing. The critical part for each is getting an accurate residence history. I can't help you with this part because I don't know what the Mexican will say about where he lived in Mexico. If you have information, you can try contacting CIS but you'll need a minimum of the guy's name and DOB. Since you're asking, I'll guess that you know the US female involved, so you may be able to get some data through her.

The short answer to your question is: Yes.

The longer answer is: But you've gotta know who the guy is, where he's lived and identifying data, like his correct date and place of birth. If he has his Mexican birth certificate, that'll help a whole lot.

Take care! What steps does immigration take to see if an illegal who married an american is already married in mexico?
I'm not sure, but I hope they step it up. To the answerer below, if you don't like the fact that this person is helping to enforce our laws, and will not turn a blind eye to this atrocity, perhaps the USA isn't the place for you. I'm positive if you return to Mexico that none of us will miss you.
:O defrauding the government will result in prison time. Just so you know...

How much does it cost to get married in the Uk?

I'm planning on getting married in October and was wondering how much it would cost to get a wedding license.

Also, is it possible to get married on the beach in Brighton? How much does it cost to get married in the Uk?
You can't get married on the beach in the UK as the venue must be a permanent built structure. its 拢30 per person for the licence. How much does it cost to get married in the Uk?
It currently costs 拢30 per person to get a marriage licence. You both have to give notice at your local registry office, then wait for a period in case anyone wants to contest the marriage, if they don't you get your licence.

I don't know if it's possible to get married on the beach, though the west pier with the tide out at sunset would be an awesome backdrop to some wedding photo's, but in October it's likely to be quite cold and possibly wet so I wouldn't advise it unless you're planning to get married in thermals and raincoats!

    All the best anyway.
Hey, the license is around 拢30.00 but don't forget you also need to pay the officiants fee (for the ceremony) and the registration fee. This differs so contact your local registry office to find out.

You need to get to your local office and request the date, they will check if anyone is available to do the ceremony and you can book it.

There are lists available online or as part of your local councils website on where ceremonies can take place they are quite strict but it may be possible to marry on the beach.
